My own academic background is in the Arts and Humanities (BA Hons, MA), with a particular expertise in the areas of religion and theology, and biblical studies. I have experience in proofreading and editing a range of different types of academic work including undergraduate essays, MA and PhD theses, journal articles, monographs, and co-edited books, many of which have since been accepted for publication by respected international journals and publishers. I have worked as a proofreader and editor for undergraduate and postgraduate students and professional academics across a range of academic fields and disciplines including archaeology, architecture, biblical studies, business studies, craft sciences, film studies, media studies, mental health nursing, music, nursing, philosophy, psychology, religious studies, sociology, theology, and town-planning. I have also worked for small businesses on marketing brochures and newsletters. I am particularly skilled at assisting EFL students and academics and take a pedagogical approach to language revision when editing EFL theses and manuscripts. The majority of my customers hold English as an additional language and I welcome enquiries from anyone who is looking for some assistance with language revision.
